Mere Paas Tum Ho revolves around the story of a couple, Danish and Mehwish have different needs and mindset which gradually drifts them apart.Danish is a simple and honest man who works in a government organization as a 17th-grade officer and earns Rs 65,000 monthly. His life revolves around his wife, Mehwish and son Roomi. They are living a happy life, but despite Danishs best efforts, he is not able to give Mehwish luxurious life that she desires.Therefore, Mehwish leaves Danish and son Roomi and choose a wealthy man Shehwar. Taken aback by the betrayal, the Danish leaves his job, sells his house and invests in the stock exchange. Things go better for him and he becomes rich through this investment. Now his son, Roomi, wants his father to marry his teacher Hania (played by Hira Mani).On the other hand, Mehwish gets betrayed by Shehwar and comes to know that he was only living off his wife Mahams money.
