Interpol Runner: Best Free Run

It's plenty of fun to play, even if the music and graphics are below some people's standards. If running games are your time waster of choice, this one is a good game to add to the collection.This game has you take the role of a person who is running either away from or toward Interpol (the game's quick intro doesn't make it exactly clear.) Instead of taking the 3D perspective like other popular running games, Interpol Runner is a side-scrolling, 2D runner that plays a lot like classic SNES platformers without the puzzle solving. You use two buttons to jump, double jump, and slide past obstacles and collect coins that let you buy in-game power-ups to help you beat the more challenging levels. The power-ups are expensive, but there are plenty of opportunities -- like daily log-in bonuses and connecting your Facebook -- to earn bonus coins that should bring things into your budget. The game's scenery is static throughout most of the levels and the music tracks are short enough to get repetitive too quickly. The game overcomes those flaws well enough to merit a few play-throughs, though.Interpol Runner is a decent running game that earns major points for having a great understanding of progressive difficultly. That and the easy-to-understand, tough-to-master gameplay carry this game.
