It would act as a platform for students having similar interests to hinge (connect). It helps serve three basic purposes1. It hinges an individual to the students of the same college with which the user is already related.2. It hinges an individual to the students of the same college with similar interests which the user is not already aware of.3. It hinges an individual to the students of different colleges with similar interests.h!nge is a set of very unique features which would create a magical experience for the users using the application to hinge themselves with various students of other colleges.Wall of Fame: This feature is the first step to hinge; it provides a platform for the students using the application to share photos and text statuses with other students. Using the post option on the trending wall a user can either select a photo or can post a textual message. Polls: This feature is the second step to hinge; it will help a user to make a better choice among different choices. The basic purpose to provide this feature is to value a user where it can be made easy to make decisions regarding various aspects including academic and professional.MyStory: This feature is the third step to hinge; it would provide an experience to the users to share their stories with their peers. It is a platform for the students to share their funny, motivational and informational experiences with everyone. A feature which would help a student to express his/her story anonymously with everyone.Tags: This feature is the fourth step to hinge; it would help students describe each other. This is just to create an experience among the users where they describe or highlight the qualities of each other. We will provide the users with a set of various tags which he/she can use to describe another user. Users can find all their tags at one place in the My Tags activity in the navigation drawer.Profile:Every student will have his own profile where he/she can describe themselves, display their own interests and also look at which tags that particular user has got with maximum tag being at the top. Users can select a profile picture for themselves along with a short description.Explore:This is another functionality which would help a user to hinge. In the explore activity a user can search the name of any student on the h!nge network or a user can also search by interest. If a user types Photography in the search bar and taps on it then h!nge will display all the users with the interest Photography throughout the network.My Posts:This is another functionality which would help a user to hinge. A user can view all their posts at one place in the My Posts activity to keep a log of what all the user has posted on the h!nge application.Recent changes:Opened h!nge for COEP,MIT, MITCOE and VIT along with PICT & CUMMINS1. Completely Revamped h!nge requests. 2. Contests are now Live \m/3. Comments can now be deleted. Thank God! 4. Profile Backdrop Photo is sexier :P5. You can now tag your h!nges from your feed.
