Simply input the plunge - trend of the core axis, the alpha - beta (and gamma) angles and press Convert! Version 2.3 also introduces gamma angles conversion from Televiewer data, using the dip/dip direction of the plane onto which the lineation is measured and the core axis.This app is the perfect field tool for structural geologists and consultants alike for converting the orientation of any planar or linear feature (e.g. bedding, foliation, fault, stretching lineation, slickenline).The app splashscreen and in-app Help remind the user how to measure alpha - beta - gamma angles.Supports dip direction/strike conversion, bottom/top reference line, and downward/upward core axis.
