This is one way we as law enforcement officers can begin rebuilding the trust of the people and children within the cities and communities we work and serve. Remember, Never judge a book by its cover. We as law enforcement can learn from anyone from all walks of life and no one person is better than another. We need to have compassion for everyone. You never know if that the one thing you say or do can make a profound effect on a persons life in a positive way and it could lead them to turning their life around for the better whether you witness it or not. You may never be physically rewarded for the things you do or go out of your way to do for someone, but God knows what is in your heart and he will reward you in other ways. In other words, when your shift is over, can you truly in your heart say you did your job the right way and made a positive influence on someone in Gods eyes?
